The large sitting room also has an open fire (see picture, left). A television and VCR are provided. A sun lounge (see picture, below) offers incredible views across the lagoon, particularly at breakfast time and at sunset. Accommodation at Ocean's Edge CottageOcean's Edge Cottage offers three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. Bedroom one has a king-size bed, bedroom two offers one double and one single bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with an electric cooker and hob, a fridge-freezer and microwave oven. A washing machine is also provided. The bathroom offers an electric shower over a traditional bath, with hot water provided by an immersion heater. Electricity is provided via a slot-meter. Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are included in your cottage rental.

Enjoy the wild life on Achill IslandThe Atlantic lagoon that laps the edge of the front garden at Ocean's Edge Cottage is home to a variety of sealife, including a family of common seals (pictured, left). Seals are a familiar sight in the waters of Achill Island, and one of the local attractions is a boat trip to the seal caves on the north side of Slievemore mountain.
